Swim Programs

Swimming lessons are offered under the Swim Care Progressive Swim Program. This program is divided into numerous levels. The objective of this program is to let YOUR abilities determine how fast you will progress through the levels.

Ages: 6 months to 3 years old*
* a parent must accompany the child in the swimming pool
SHRIMP - develop comfort in and around water

Ages: 3 years and older
SEAHORSE - buoyancy, breath control, basic water skills
STARFISH - unsupported floating, kicking, front crawl and back crawl
GUPPY - elementary backstroke, kneeling dive, front crawl and back crawl
FLIPPER - sidestroke, deep water bobbing, breaststroke kick, previous strokes
SEAL - dolphin kick, treading water, breaststroke, previous strokes
SAILFISH - butterfly, front and back crawl flip turns, increased endurance
BARRACUDA - refine and review all strokes and turns, junior life guarding skills
