Friends of the National Frontier Trails
Museum
Friends of the National Frontier Trails Museum supports and enhances the activities
at the museum. The Friends have provided financial and other support for items such
as:
- acquisition of artifacts, diaries, and books
- construction of the walking path around the trail swales near the museum
- purchase and restoration of the prairie schooner and Conestoga wagons
- purchase and installation of the projection and sound systems

Volunteer Opportunities
We greatly appreciate all of our wonderful volunteers! There are many ways to volunteer
at the museum, including:
- Give tours to schools and other groups as a Museum Educator
- Assist in the Merrill J. Mattes Research Library
- Help with special events and other programs
