Earth Week! Invasive Plant Cleanup Day - Volunteer Event

Come volunteer at George Owens Nature Park!  After a bit of instruction and a safety talk, we will begin clearing Bush Honeysuckle along a trail.  Honeysuckle is a pervasive weed that leaf out early and drops its leaves late, causing it to out compete our native plants.  Come out and help give our native plants a fighting chance against invaders!  Bring your work gloves, bug spray and refillable water bottle.  Tools are provided.
