LOST AND FOUND PETS

1. Call your local animal shelter and give them a brief description of the animal and telephone number where the animal was being housed and from what area it is missing.
   
   
2. Go to all the shelters in your area at least every other day.
   
   
3. Call Lost Dog Registry (816) 333-0020 and leave your phone number and a brief description of the animal on their answering machine.
   
   
4. Check the local newspaper's Lost & Found section. The Independence Examiner will run free Found Ads - (816) 254-8600.
   
   
5. Find out if your animal is at our shelter. This is up-dated hourly, but please come down to the shelter and also physically check.
