39th Street Transportation Development District
The City of Independence – Finance Department has contracted with the 39th Street
Transportation District to act as a collection agent for the “District”. The sales
tax return and instructions are available for viewing and/or printing. Payment of
sales tax may be made by check or money order and should be made out to the 39th
Street Transportation Development District. The sales tax return (Form DD-1), along
with any payment due, should be completed and mailed to:
