Nature & Family Photography Contest
Description:
Contest registration dates April 5 - July 21. Photo entry must be submitted by August 6.
We’ve expanded our Photography Contest!! Take your best nature photo or your best photo of kids, adults or families having fun at an Independence Park. All photographers will receive a disposable camera and must enter their best picture by August 6. Individuals must pre-register at the Truman Memorial Building to receive their camera and information packet. This program is being provided with support from the Custom Framer and The Examiner. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place will be awarded in two age groups for both categories of pictures: 18 years and younger and those over 18 years. A best of show will also be chosen for both categories. Photos will be judged and displayed at George Owens Nature Center. September 20 – November 30. Register at the Truman Memorial Building.
